On February 19, Freedomain Radio’s Canadian podcaster and host Stefan Molyneux discussed his thoughts on Bitcoin following the tumultuous surge in crypto assets that captured a trillion dollar market valuation. Molyneux’s recent speech describes the liberation potential Bitcoin could bring to the masses and how the crypto network can transform humanity for the better.
“Bitcoin is a currency that serves people at the expense of parasites”
Just recently, the crypto evangelist and philosopher Stefan Molyneux spoke in detail about the Bitcoin blockchain. Molyneux opened his speech by answering a question about BTC and ETH struggling to scale. The Freedomain radio host said it was good to criticize, but the people in the crypto room wouldn’t give up easily.
Molyneux mentioned that Bitcoin’s market cap has just passed the trillion dollar milestone and that the people who added that value weren’t going to throw in the towel. He insisted that many crypto advocates spent a decade of their lives spreading adoption and mentioned that there are solutions like Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and the Lightning Network.
“The Bitcoin community consists of almost the most brilliant and economically and ideologically motivated people on the planet,” emphasizes Molyneux in his video. “Bet on your damned danger against them because Bitcoin isn’t just an alternate currency, it’s not just a store of value, it’s not just a cool public ledger.” Bitcoin is a passionate FU for the powers that be, ”adds Molyneux.

Bitcoin is the people who regained control of their currency for the first time in the history of the world – Bitcoin is currency-democratized, unpoliticized, not predatory. “
Molyneux added:
Bitcoin is a currency that serves the people at the expense of the parasites, and not the currency that is currently serving the parasites at the expense of the people. Bitcoin saves your precious work from being sucked in endlessly by the invisible vampire mosquitoes of the central bank.
Today’s fiat currency is slavery tied to unborn generations
The philosopher continues to praise the Bitcoin community, saying that the folks at Crypto are “seriously brilliant”. Beautiful and “disturbed people,” he says, “committed to the future of peace and abundance that Bitcoin could represent”.
Molyneux also notes that the current fiat currency distributed by the world’s oligarchic bureaucracy is “slavery”.
“What we understand is that currency is now slavery. The currency is launched at the expense of your children’s future. What you think of as a dollar sign is a slow carotid artery winding around your children’s necks, ”reveals Molyneux.
The national debt, so Molyneux continues, is “a real problem of human trafficking”. Molyneux says that man is all about storing value, and in the evangelist’s view, storing and maintaining value is everything in life. “By creating something that can store value outside of the state, like a revolution that we have never seen before in human history,” the philosopher emphasizes.
“When mussels are the currency on an island,” Molyneux describes in an analogy. “Then you need three clams a day to live, and when you get four clams someone will take the fourth clam. Then you won’t bother to get the fourth bowl tomorrow. You only stay at three clams and nothing will ever progress because nothing can be saved or stored in value. Nothing is ever built because everything you build is taken away from you, ”he added.
“Bitcoin is the largest jailbreak in human history,” Molyneux shows in his video.
Molyneux continues, “Imagine … everything you build is being taken away. It’s happening right now [right] now you understand. Everything you’ve built is already being taken away by unfunded debt, government debt, and inflation. Everything you build is already taken away. Molyneux says you can have a house. But it really isn’t your house. He insists that you have to pay the government every year to keep it.

Bitcoin has changed that course, emphasizes Molyneux. Bitcoin is the first of its kind that can deter parasites from stealing value that it detects. He says that the society we live in today treats babies and unborn babies as “securities”. Bitcoin can strengthen a system that eliminates such an immoral system.
“When you have a general understanding of how much debt has been taken on on your behalf just because you breathe,” notes Molyneux. “If you’ve really looked at this math, you can find it pretty easily,” he added.
