Crypto Twitter ushered in the Christmas cheer with a new all-time high for Bitcoin (BTC) and culminated in an enormous year for the digital asset.
Bitcoin price hit a high of $ 24,661.76 on Bitstamp, beating last week’s previous record. The altcoin market also rebounded, with Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and XRP seeing impressive rallies.
Bitcoin’s biggest proponents took to Twitter to celebrate the new milestone – and to remind their followers to move on at the start of the new year. Twin co-founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss expressed some excitement:

Mike Novogratz, CEO of Galaxy Digital, also celebrated Christmas by unpacking a moon glowing in the dark, which is a direct reference to the meteoric rise of Bitcoin.

YouTuber Crypto Daily commented on Bitcoin as “rallying during an illiquid holiday,” which is evidence of the digital currency’s bullish potential. “$ 100,000 is now FUD,” he said.
