Meet Qonos- A Purpose-Built Digital Frame for NFT Art and Collectibles – Bitcoin News

The NFT artwork (Non-Fungible Token) and the collector ecosystem have exploded in recent months. Just last week, a Beeple-made NFT sold for $ 69 million at world-famous Christie’s auction house. As the NFT space swells, a new product called “Qonos” has been launched, a specially designed digital display for NFT art and collectibles. The company’s first sale sold out in less than 24 hours and the company is preparing the next shipment of products for pre-order customers.

NFTs were clearly all the rage and a large number of new non-fungible token ideas have emerged from the woodworks. On March 14, Bitcoin.com’s news desk covered a number of celebrities who have entered the non-fungible token (NFT) wealth economy. Well-known greats like NFL greats like Patrick Mahomes and Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski, Latin American superstar Ozuna, multi-platinum recording artist Lil Pump and the band Kings of Leon have all dropped unique NFT collections.

With all the demand for the NFT ecosystem, a new product called Qonos has been launched. In essence, Qonos is a specially designed digital display (frame) for NFT art and collectibles. The company’s website, qonos.ae, states the product is “the world’s first custom digital frame for NFT art and collectibles.”

So far, NFT enthusiasts and collectors have kept their precious NFTs in a crypto wallet for viewing. Qonos founder Moe Levin believes that NFTs need something better so that collectors can fashionably display their non-fungible collectibles.

“Cultural innovation deserves a bespoke canvas – that’s what we set out to do at Qonos,” Levin told Bitcoin.com. “We created a dedicated display and seamlessly integrated platform for NFT art and collectibles that people and galleries can use to instantly curate their favorite artwork and share it on their walls.”

Levin is also the founder of Keynote, a cryptoconferencing and events company founded in 2012. Keynote is responsible for popular events like the North American Bitcoin Conference, which takes place annually in Miami.

Qonos founder: “NFT art is the next evolution of human artistic endeavors”

You can find Qonos hardware statistics on the company’s website. There it is explained that the product has a high-resolution screen, integrated graphics processing and motion / proximity sensors. In addition, it has a “slim, flush-mounted design and a walnut-look frame”. In addition, Qonos gives owners access to a gallery of NFTs valued at $ 500 million.

“Anyone with Qonos hardware can access the gallery – a collection of digital art and collectibles valued at over $ 500 million,” said the company’s announcement. “Qonos owners can curate personalized playlists of their favorite works of art and then transport them to their Qonos display to customize their interior,” the company emphasized.

“The difference between an art buyer and an art collector is how they present their collection. NFT art is the next evolution of human artistic endeavors. We designed Qonos to present an artistic revolution and we are optimistic about the future. “Levin stressed. In addition to the popular Ethereum-based NFTs, Levin also stated that the Qonos hardware is compatible with the Simple Ledger Protocol (SLP) NFT architecture that uses the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network.

Josh Dykgraaf, Creative Director at Qonos, said the technology now exists to host transformative presentations of works of art powered by blockchain technology. “We now have the technology to change our music, our movies, and our TV shows based on our moods. Why not art? “Dykgraaf insisted.” If the past year has shown us something, the world is always changing. Why shouldn’t our art aesthetics change as much as we do? “

After the first Qonos sale, pre-orders for the next version are now available on their website. The Qonos 17.3 “product is priced at $ 999, while the Qonos 24” is priced at $ 1,499. The 17-inch model ships in 6-8 weeks and the 24-inch Qonos model ships in 10-12 weeks, the company’s web portal explains.
