NFL Player Gets a Myriad of Celebrities to Add the Bitcoin Hashtag to Their Twitter Profiles – Featured Bitcoin News

After the day Tesla founder Elon Musk added the bitcoin hashtag to his Twitter profile, Russell Okung told his social media followers to include the bitcoin hashtag in their bio. Okung managed to get hundreds of people into it, but more recently the NFL player has started a decent bandwagon of celebrities with a huge number of Twitter followers to join the bandwagon as well.

Last week, Elon Musk added the bitcoin hashtag to his Twitter bio, and after doing so, the price of bitcoin (BTC) happened to make significant gains. Musk also tweeted, “Looking back, it was inevitable,” and a large number of crypto backers celebrated the Tesla founder’s social media teasing. After Musk did so on Twitter, the NFL player who plays offensive tackle for the Carolina Panthers, Russell Okung urged his Twitter followers to follow Musk’s latest move.

“Everyone put #Bitcoin on their bio,” Okung tweeted. “Raise the flag to indicate that you are ready for the future. Send me a screenshot so I know it’s real, ”wrote the soccer player. The soccer player is also known for recently telling the world that he used half of his $ 13 million NFL salary on bitcoin payments.

“Paying with Bitcoin is the first step in ending the corrupt, rigged economy we all live in,” Okung stated at the time.

Following the popular NFL star’s tweet, Okung received more than 2.3,000 Twitter replies and a large number of screenshots. A large number of screenshots came from hardcore cryptocurrency supporters and also from countless average citizens.

Famous celebrities are joining the Bitcoin hashtag trend

In addition, Okung managed to attract a large number of celebrities to participate in the Bitcoin hashtag organic trend. Okung also tweeted about some of the well-known celebs who helped put the bitcoin hashtag flag on their Twitter bios.

People included spiritual guru Sofia Hayat, Brad Haugen from Westbrook Media, Mr. Beast, singer Joy Villa, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, Anthony Scaramucci from Skybridge Capital and many more. Each of the celebrities has well over 100,000 Twitter followers or more. “Greetings to those who are building a decentralized future.”

Okung continued to tweet on Saturday. “The message is clear: we’re not here to play a role, we’re here to take over,” added the Carolina Panthers offensive. The next day, Okung also tweeted a contemptuous message in the direction of the Great Reset agenda.

“You will not own anything and you will be happy,” tweeted Okung, referring to the November 2016 World Economic Forum (WEF) tweet, originally from a prediction by Danish MP, Ida Auken. “Now translated as: ‘We will own everything and you will leave us,'” said NFL player Okung on Sunday morning.
